Parkview Terrace Apartments

The Lumber River Housing Development Inc., (Parkview Terrace Apts.) is sponsored by the Lumber River Baptist Association. The Association consists of 40 black baptist churches within a three County area. Parkview Terrace is a low moderate-income housing development subsidized by the Federal Government as a 221(d)(3) subsidized housing project.

Occupancy began with following purposes:

a.   To operate exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes.

b.   To apply for contract for buy sell, construct, build obtain, operate, manage, or other wise participate in the erection of, management of any housing project, low income, elderly, or otherwise, pursuant to provision of section 22(d)(3) of the National Housing Act.

c.   To promote, apply for, contract, buy, sell construct, build, obtain, operate, manage, or otherwise participate in the erection of, houses, apartment dwellings, multi-family dwellings, subdivision and any other project dealing with land, or homes pursuant to any laws of the United States of America.
